These terms govern your use of Folkscope, a product operated by Folksoft Oy(“Folkscope,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using Folkscope on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf.
The service
Folkscope tracks public LinkedIn engagement on the profiles you choose, enriches the people behind it, and scores each one against your ideal customer profile. We may update, add, or remove features over time to improve the product.
Your account
You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under it. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old to use Folkscope.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Folkscope for any unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purpose.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission.
- Use the data in violation of applicable privacy laws or third-party terms.
Billing and credits
Paid plans are billed in advance and include a defined volume of enrichment credits. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes do not affect the period you have already paid for.
Your data
You retain ownership of the lead lists and data you bring to Folkscope. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you. Our handling of personal data is described in our privacy policy.
Third-party platforms
Folkscope relies on public data and third-party enrichment providers. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn, and your use of any third-party platform remains subject to that platform’s own terms.
Intellectual property
Folkscope, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Folksoft Oy and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
Disclaimers
Folkscope is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that enrichment, scoring, or signals will be complete, accurate, or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Folksoft Oy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
You may stop using Folkscope and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that creates risk for us or others.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, and any disputes will be resolved by the courts of Finland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Folkscope means you accept the updated terms.
