Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and workspace details when you sign up.
- Lead and engagement data — the public LinkedIn profiles you choose to track and the public likes, comments, and reactions associated with them, which we enrich and score against your ideal customer profile.
- Usage data — how you interact with the product, plus standard log data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps.
- Billing information — processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Folkscope.
- Enrich and score leads so you can prioritize your warmest pipeline.
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
- Keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- Comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your private lead lists to train models for other customers.
LinkedIn and third-party data
Folkscope works only with publicly available engagement signals and does not require your LinkedIn login or a browser extension. Enrichment is performed through reputable third-party data providers. We process this data on your behalf to deliver the service you ask for.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and a small number of analytics cookies to understand how the product is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only with service providers who help us run Folkscope — such as hosting, payment processing, enrichment, and analytics — under agreements that require them to protect your data. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe.
Your rights
